By accessing or using PCBid ("we", "us", or "our") platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

These Terms apply to all users of the platform, including engineers, procurement teams, and PCB manufacturers.

Description of Services

PCBid provides an AI-powered PCB procurement platform that:

• Specification Extraction: Uses artificial intelligence to analyze uploaded Gerber files and extract PCB manufacturing specifications
• Quote Generation: Connects users with pre-vetted PCB manufacturers to obtain competitive quotes
• Supplier Matching: Matches PCB requirements with appropriate manufacturers based on capabilities and certifications
• Order Facilitation: Facilitates the ordering process between buyers and manufacturers

User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• One person or entity may only maintain one account

Account Security

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts suspected of fraudulent activity

File Upload & Intellectual Property

Your Content

• You retain all intellectual property rights to the PCB design files you upload
• By uploading files, you grant us a limited license to process them for specification extraction
• You represent that you have the right to upload any files you submit
• We will only share your design files with manufacturers you explicitly authorize

Confidentiality

• Your uploaded files are treated as confidential information
• Files are encrypted at rest and in transit
• Access to your files is restricted to authorized personnel and systems
• We do not use your design files for any purpose other than providing our Services

Quotes & Orders

Quote Accuracy

• Quotes provided through PCBid are estimates based on extracted specifications
• Final pricing may vary based on manufacturer review of complete design files
• Quotes are valid for the time period specified by each manufacturer
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-extracted specifications; you should review all specifications before ordering

Orders & Payment

• Orders are contracts between you and the selected manufacturer
• Payment terms are determined by each manufacturer
• PCBid facilitates but is not a party to manufacturer contracts
• Disputes should be resolved directly with the manufacturer, with our support if needed

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use PCBid for:

• Any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws
• Uploading files containing malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfering with or disrupting our Services
• Scraping or harvesting data from our platform
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Uploading designs for weapons, explosives, or illegal devices
• Fraudulent or deceptive practices

Disclaimers & Limitations

Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on our website
• Sending an email notification
• Displaying a notice in the platform

Continued use of PCBid after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
